Welcome to my new experimental page. This time I have chosen to write about popular comic book Calvin and Hobbes. The former
is also known from daily strips and was created by artist Bill Wattersson.
The title is named after the two principal characters; Calvin and his imaginary friend Hobbes who is actually nothing
more than a stuffed animal. In difficult times, the secret friend is always there for advice.
That could be a good idea sometimes, especially when the school teacher keeps making life a hard time. The class teacher
is an elderly lady and smokes a lot. Due to some stunts, impish Cal will have to spend a few extra hours when his peers are
home playing.
At home, a babysitter is hired when the parents are off. Much to the vexation of our prankster who don't like when people
intrude on his little dream-world. The babysitter (I think her name was Rosalyn) follows up on bad behaviour but is always
outwitted by a counter-ploy.
